What Are They Saying?
True Colors Association
True Colors

Ever wonder why some people on your staff:

- Are always on time or even early, while others have a tough time being on time?
- Speak their mind even before they know what is on it, while others are more reserved and think before they speak?
- Have desks that are neat and tidy, while others have piles everywhere and can still find things on their desk?
- Put the system/department above all, while others put people before the system?

Or why some:

- Handle pressure better than others?
- Do anything asked of them while others challenge everything the boss says?
- Just seem to get along with anyone while others seem to have conflict?

Tom Doyle, author and speaker, will help you to understand our differences and how they apply to your world. Tom has spent the last 35 years in education and athletics at the high school level and the last 8 years as a True Colors presenter. He wrote the Sports Parent’s Manual to help parents understand their role in their kid’s athletic experience and True Coaching to help coaches and administrators understand how knowing True Colors can make us better coaches and better communicators. This in turn will enable us to bring the best out of those on our staffs and understand those we meet in our jobs and families.

True Colors offers a research-based approach to understanding human behavior and motivation. True Colors uses a metaphor of colors (gold, orange, blue, and green) to identify four distinct perspectives and personalities. This understanding improves collaboration, provides a way to strategize and organize work teams, helps increase individual and team productivity and recognition, and provides a way for decision-makers to utilize personality type in day-to-day management decisions. True Colors presentations are dynamic, entertaining, and educational. Tom has presented to various groups including the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrator’s Association, school staffs, school boards, teams, and businesses including Microsoft, the City of Seattle, realtors, Rotary Clubs, and other small businesses.

In addition to the Personal Success Seminar, True Colors offers advanced training in Leadership, Conflict Resolution, True Communication, and many other follow-up topics. True Colors can enhance communication in your business as well as increase productivity and decrease absences. If you aren’t using True Colors, what “tool” are you using to help you communicate with and motivate and empower your employees?
